DIET TIPS FOR EXAMS

During exam diet plays an important role in improving memory, to concentrate and to stay calm under stressful conditions.Food should be such that, that it should not give negative impact on our stomach, as well as it does not affect our sleeping pattern. Children should have an option of wide variety of foods from the various food groups which should be offered at each meal time. Few tips which can be practiced this exam time can include:

  • Small gaps to go for a walk.
  • Include energy-dense foods like dry fruits, fruit shakes.
  • Include a balanced diet.
  • Increase water intake in form of soups, shakes, coconut water and lassi.
  • Inlcude handful of nuts and seeds(drink lot of water along with seeds)
  • Avoid carbonated beverages and caffeinated drinks.
  • Avoid skipping meals.
  • Avoid processed and packaged foods.
